BRV class of '66 reunites for three days

MOORELAND - The Blue River Valley Class of 1966 celebrated a 40th reunion
with a three-day event. On Friday, Aug. 11, classmates met in Mooreland to
decorate a float to enter in the Mooreland Fair Parade. Classmates rode the
float in the Saturday.
Saturday night they enjoyed an evening at the Raintree Inn eating Top Hat
Pizza and visiting. The Top Hat was a favorite eating, meeting and dating
place for the class of 1966. Special guests were Herb and Judy Bunch. Mrs.
Bunch was a grade-school teacher for alumni from Mount Summit.

On Sunday, the class met at Memorial Park for a picnic. Instrumental in
getting it all together were class officers: Larry Cooper, Cindy Guffy
Burke and Steve Riggs. Prizes were awarded to Leland and Janelle Brown
Keesling, traveling the farthest; Bernice Roberts Stacey, most children;
David and Sue Conwell Jester, most grandchildren; Darryl Ingram, baldest;
Diana Igo, Julie Brenneman, and Barbara Cross, single; Larry Bertram, least
changed; Diana Igo, most changed.
Attending were Leland and Janelle Brown Keesling of Sante Fe, NM; Mike
Miller of New Lisbon; Don Perdue of Indianapolis; Indiana; Steve Province
of Middletown; Harvey Hall of Albuquerque, NM; Joan Burke Sexton of
Springport and Bernice Roberts Stacey of New Castle.

Jester Stotz of Springfield, VA; Patrick McAllister, Mount Summit; Rebecca
